OSDx Data and Backup

OSDx stores examination and patient data locally on the computer on which the application is installed.

How is OSDx data stored?

OSDx uses a secure local database to keep examination information together. The database is contained in a single file, making routine backup straightforward.

Backing up your data

Regular backup of the OSDx database is recommended to protect your examination records in the event of computer failure or data loss. Follow the backup procedure provided with your OSDx installation or contact your system administrator or OSDx support if assistance is required.

Important: Do not manually edit, rename, delete or replace OSDx data files. Database restoration should only be performed using the recommended procedure.
